Happy Mother's Day
Sitting here writing this I miss being able to watch teams play baseball in their special Mother's Day uniforms. The Yankees would be playing the Red Sox today so it would've been quite the matchup (Sunday Night Baseball I'm guessing). Mother's Day is done right in the MLB. They really make the day special for all moms whether they are involved in the baseball or out of the game. So it is a shame we do not get to celebrate this holiday with the sport of baseball. I am writing this blog not about baseball though, but to all Mother's. Thank you to all the moms out there. Even if your kids do not show it, trust me, they appreciate you. To the families that celebrate their Mother's properly Mother's Day, good on you because I'm sure they deserve it. If you get a chance today, tell your Mom you love her. Mother's have to put up with a lot when they have a child. The late nights, the crying, the diapers, its no piece of cake. They put in so much hard work and effort to make you who you are today and that is no easy task. I think I speak for all of us when I say, thank you, Mom, for all you do. Whether it is your mom, grandma, wife, or even sister, anyone who is a mother, it is their day. So do something nice for them! It can be as simple as a card, flowers, or even chocolate. Just something to let them know you're thinking of them and you appreciate them. That's what this holiday is all about, giving credit where credit is due. To all the Mother's reading this, we can't thank you enough for all your constant love and affection.
